Met Gala 2022: The Best Dressed Asian Attendees on the Red Carpet
One of fashion’s most extravagant events saw glitzy and glamorous gowns and luxurious looks from Asian guests.

Fashion’s biggest night, the legendary Met Gala 2022 hosted to celebrate the historical Metropolitan Museum Of New York’s new exhibition, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.” The night theme was “Gilded Glamour,” which dates back to a critical time of history, specifically from 1870-to 1900. At the time, millions of immigrants settled in the United States for work with the rise of industrialization. This era was a period of rapidly booming economic growth and, as a result, caused an unbalance of severe poverty and extreme inequality.

The theme was concise yet unlimited because it’s short and sweet yet culturally diverse with unrestricted interpretations. Each A-list Asian celebrity dressed differently yet followed the theme accordingly – all of which decked in classic style with contemporary sensibility was vital here in plenty of dazzling diamonds and a dizzying array of dresses with a focus on daring ensembles, first-class display of vivid colors, and voluptuous volume of the era.
